After the rain it came the snow, rather early this year to be honest, and I certainly couldn’t miss the chance to take some pics using this beautiful landscape. Unlike most people, I deeply love winter, cold and snow, maybe because I was born on December 26th and so it’s natural that I prefer this season. Coming to my outfit, I made a rather strong choice: a total white look thanks to my warm and soft Annabella fur coat close to waist with a maxi black patent leather belt, contrasted by leopard details: the Louboutin pony ankle boots and the new Zara clutch. Completing the look my black Borsalino hat and a Kiko red nailpolish, one of my fav colors right now.

Dopo la pioggia è arrivata anche la neve, piuttosto in anticipo quest’anno a dire il vero, ed io non potevo di certo farmi sfuggire l’occasione di scattare qualche foto sfruttando questo suggestivo paesaggio. A differenza della maggior parte delle persone, io amo profondamente l’inverno, il freddo e la neve, forse perché sono nata il 26 dicembre e quindi è naturale che io prediliga questa stagione. Venendo al mio outfit, ho fatto una scelta piuttosto forte: un total look bianco grazie alla mia calda e morbida pelliccia di Annabella stretta in vita da una maxi cintura in vernice nera, contrastato da dettagli maculati: gli stivaletti in cavallino di Louboutin e la nuova clutch di Zara. Completavano il look il mio Borsalino nero ed uno smalto rosso fuoco di Kiko, tra i miei colori preferiti in questo momento.

Ti ho scritto prima circa le pellicce, volevo aggiungere che anche oggi tanti ragazzi hanno manifestato contro il loro uso a Madrid. Il problema quindi e'davvero molto sentito anche dai piu'giovani e sono curiosa di sapere cosa ne pensi al riguardo e se credi un domani di prendere una posizione e magari non indossarne piu'. I don't like to see too many animal print in a look. Matchy - matchy it's not real my thin, but I think you got a great look with two leopard appointments in the boots and the clutch. I always love too when someones matches fast fashion and high street pieces. Zara and Louboutin look great together. And of course how not to mention the hat. I use and abuse hats. Turns everything so classy. Well done ;)

@Anonymous (Silvia): mi fa piacere che segui il mio blog e spero lo continuerai a fare anche se non approvi l'uso delle pellicce. Rispetto molto la tua opinione, quello che non capisco è come mai non mi vengono mosse le stesse critiche quando indosso capi in pelle o in altri materiali derivati da animali. Non credo che le loro vite valgano meno di un visone ma non fanno così scalpore e non riesco a capirne il motivo.

Ciao Melissa, grazie per avermi risposto. Il problema e'ovviamente complessissimo, io sono anche vegetariana, ma l'uso della pelle rimane un problema aperto: oltre la Falabella? Ma la moda si sta muovendo anche in quella direzione, x cui credo che a breve avremmo molta piu'scelta. Quello che colpisce l'immaginario e'che mentre la pelle della mucca conciata deriva dalla carcassa di un animale che altri hanno mangiato, per un visone lo scopo e'semplicemente utilizzarne il pelo. A questo si aggiunga le pessime condizioni di vita di bestie selvatiche in gabbie minuscole,scuoiate da vive e... devo continuare?! E'un segno di civiltà e di umanità iniziare a levarci tutti quanti questo sfizio, tanto piu'che il tuo e'visone, ma molti colli e collettini sono pelo di cane o gatto, se vogliamo distinguere da animali di serie A e B. Personalmente credo sia il contributo che ognuno puo'facilmente dare per fare qualcosa di bello: "if nothing matters there's nothing to save".

Melissa io ti trovo sempre impeccabile ma appunto non capisco come si possa mettere addosso un animale che non solo prima era vivo ma addirittura ha vissuto per morire nel modo barbaro in cui sappiamo tutti.
La pelle deriva da animali che comunque vengono poi mangiati (io limito l'uso di carne ma non posso mangiare solo verdure) un visone o una volpe viene detenuta in una gabbia minuscola per poi terminare la sua vita essendo scuoiata viva.
Non è "ipocrisia" la nostra... io mi rifiuto di indossare pellice e quando posso uso ecopelle DETESTO pelli di coccodrillo o rettili vari.. Voi fashion blogger data la vostra importanza date un esempio...avrei amato il tuo look al 100% ma quella pelliccia mi ha donato solo tristezza...

Rispetto molto le vostre posizioni circa le pellicce ma quello che non capisco è come mai non ci si indigna per un agnellino sgozzato e mangiato a Pasqua e per un visone sì. Si può fare a meno dell'agnello (io non lo mangio per esempio) e se vogliamo dirla tutta, l'agnellino è un animale molto più domestico e "simpatico" del visone!

non credo che bisogna essere vegetariani per poter dire NO ALLE PELLICCE!!
un conto è uccidere gli animali per mangiarli (cosa che fa parte della catena alimentare), un altro è ucciderli per esporli addosso.
una pelliccia ecologica può essere altrettanto elegante, senza provocare inutili morti.
mi dispiace che proprio su un blog che leggono molte persone passi questo messaggio di profonda ipocrisia.
Cibo e "sfoggio di denaro" sono due cose molto diverse.
