In this year and a bit ‘more time spent together, from the opening of my blog till today, you certainly have learned to know me a bit 'and you may have guessed that coexist many different sides of me. I can be a sweet person as sometimes I can be very hard; I think I can be serious and professional when it needs, without ever let slip the opportunity for a good and healthy laugh; I wake up in a romantic mood to turn into a rock one in a few moments; I can seem cold and rational but in the end I can take a decision dictated by the madness of the moment! These shots would be a kind of photographic summary of my multifaceted personality and also a way to present you the maxi t-shirt I'm wearing "A Bit Of Fashion, A Bit Of Me": fashion as a fundamental part of me and my life, not the only one, but certainly with a great importance. In questo anno e più trascorso insieme, dall’apertura del mio blog ad oggi, sicuramente avrete imparato a conoscermi un po’ ed avrete intuito che in me convivono molti lati diversi. Posso essere una persona dolce così come a volte so essere molto dura; credo di poter essere seria e professionale quando occorre, senza però lasciarmi mai sfuggire l’occasione per una bella e sana risata; mi sveglio con un mood romantico per poi lasciare spazio ad una vena rock; posso sembrare fredda e razionale ma alla fine prendere una decisione dettata dalla follia del momento! Questi scatti vorrebbero essere una sorta di riassunto fotografico di questa mia personalità così sfaccettata, nonché un modo per presentarvi la maxi t-shirt che indosso “A Bit Of Fashion, A Bit Of Me”: la moda come una parte fondamentale di me e della mia vita, non l’unica, ma sicuramente di grande rilievo. First of all I have to thank Maria who gave me the chance to make this video interview for Chicisimo, a fashion community to which I belong. I apologize for my mistakes and my pronunciation, but as I always say, also thanks to these projects, I try and I hope to improove my English. This video production was the excuse to take some photos of the backstage, means an ordinary crazy working day with Manuela, my photographer: pc, notes, calls, photos, books but, above all, a great harmony and collaboration with a pinch of madness, attested by my heart shaped glasses! Then, have you noticed my new business cards? What do you think about, you like them?

As you know I love high heels but when I saw these absolutely flat Dior sandals I could not resist, they are a real gem. For this occasion I also decided to wear the latest t-shirt model designed with Manuela, an ironic slogan tee declaring "I am a fashion blogger...follow me", enhanced by the print of a pair of red stilettos and by a row of studs around the neck. Innazitutto devo ringraziare Maria che mi ha dato l’opportunità di realizzare questa video intervista per Chicisimo, una fashion community di cui faccio parte. Mi scuso per i miei errori e per la mia pronuncia ma, come dico sempre, anche attraverso questi progetti, cerco e spero di miglirare il mio inglese. La realizzazione di questo video è stato poi il pretesto per scattare alcune foto di backstage, ovvero di un pazzo ordinario giorno di lavoro insieme a Manuela, la mia fotografa: pc, appunti, telefonate, foto, libri ma soprattutto tanta sintonia e collaborazione con un pizzico di pazzia, come dimostrano i miei occhiali a forma di cuore! Avete poi notato i miei nuovi biglietti da visita? Cosa ne pensate, vi piacciono?

Come sapete adoro i tacchi alti ma quando ho visto questi sandali assolutamente flat di Dior non ho saputo resistere, sono un vero e proprio gioiello. Per l’occasione ho deciso di indossare anche l’ultimo modello di t-shirt ideato proprio insieme a Manuela, una ironica slogan tee che dichiara “I am a fashion blogger…follow me”, impreziosita dalla stampa di un paio di stiletti rossi e da una fila di borchie intorno al collo. Last week, thanks to L’Armadio del Delitto, I discovered a wonderful initiative to which I immediately decided to join. The fact that my blog receives thousands of visits fills me with joy but knowing that this produces harmful emissions of carbon dioxide make me sad in the same way. You will find all the technical and scientific explanations of this process on Machs Grün site. What can I do, along with all the bloggers in the world, is write a post about it and publish "My blog is carbon neutral” logo: so a precious tree will be planted in the California Plumas National Forest, able of absorbing my blog's harmful carbon dioxide emissions. And speaking about nature, these photos were taken last Sunday in the beautiful city of Como: the lake, due to the abundant rains, it was untill the road, the wind was strong, my heels too high (but in my defense I argue that this trip was not planned!) and my head confused in all directions, both because air tangled my hair and because I was able to loose my Dior Beauty pendant that I knotted to the bag! Who knows, maybe it will be on the funicular that took us in the typical village of Brunate.
For this occasion I decided to show off my Zara high-waisted shorts and one of my recent purchases, the Louis Vuitton Trevi GM bag. Then I decided to complete the look with a green nailpolish (do you like it? I think it’s so amazing!) and one of my creations, the crochet earrings that I already presented to you and that you can find in my online shop, A Bit of Shopping.

La scorsa settimana, grazie a L’Armadio del Delitto, sono venuta a conoscenza di una bellissima iniziativa alla quale ho deciso immediatamente di aderire. Il fatto che il mio blog riceva migliaia di visite mi riempie di gioia ma sapere che ciò produce dannose emissioni di diossido di carbonio mi rattrista altrettanto. Sul sito Machs Grün troverete tutte le spiegazioni tecniche e scientifiche di questo processo. Ciò che posso fare io, insieme a tutte le bloggers del mondo, è scrivere un post a riguardo e pubblicare il logo “My blog is carbon neutral”: in questo modo verrà piantato un prezioso albero nella foresta californiana Plumas National Forest, in grado di assorbire le nocive emissioni di diossido di carbonio del mio blog. E a proposito di natura, queste foto sono state scattate la scorsa domenica nella bellissima città di Como: l’acqua del lago, causa le abbondanti piogge, era fin sulla strada, il vento era fortissimo, i miei tacchi decisamente troppo alti (ma a mia discolpa adduco il fatto che questa gita non era stata programmata!) e la mia testa confusa in tutti i sensi, sia perché l’aria mi aggrovigliava i capelli sia perché sono riuscita a perdere il ciondolo di Dior Beauty che avevo annodato alla borsa! Chissà magari sarà sulla funicolare che ci ha condotti nel caratteristico paesino di Brunate.
Per l’occasione ho deciso di sfoggiare i miei shorts a vita alta di Zara e uno dei miei ultimi acquisti, la Trevi GM di Louis Vuitton. Ho poi pensato di completare il look con uno smalto verde (vi piace? Io lo trovo davvero divertente!) ed una mia creazione, gli orecchini all’unicinetto che vi avevo già presentato e che potete trovare nel mio shop online, A Bit of Shopping.

After a long plane trip, after watching the sun rise twice in a day, but above all after spending an incredible month in California that made me miss a bit my blog, I'm back with a lot of news and projects that I hope you will enjoy.
The first and most important one is the t-shirt I'm wearing in this outfit. This is one of my new creation, but a bit different from those already presented, in fact it features a slogan declaring "I am a fashion blogger...follow me" enriched by a pair of red stilettos under the slogan and a row of studs around the neck. I saw the jacket you see in these pics at Zara in Milan, but being not entirely convinced, I decided to not take it. A few days later I came back to take it but it was sold out. At that point, I wanted it absolutely, but no longer able to find it in any store, came to my rescue my dear friend Nadia, who had found it in Dublin and sent it to me!
The Jeffrey Campbell wedges, instead, directly come from Carson City and they are one of my online purchases that, in the last period, I do more often! About Jeffrey Campbell, did you see how beautiful are his new clogs? I've already added them in my wishing list!
Then, I decided to show off some of my purchases from Caifornia, Tarina Tarantino skull, electric blue Balenciaga and American Apparel grey nailpolish.

Dopo un lungo viaggio aereo, dopo aver visto sorgere il sole due volte in uno stesso giorno, ma soprattutto dopo aver trascorso un mese incredibile in California che mi ha fatto trascurare un po' il mio blog, eccomi di nuovo qui, con tante novità e progetti che spero potrete apprezzare.
La prima e la più importante riguarda la t-shirt che indosso in questo outfit. Si tratta di una mia nuova creazione, un po' diversa però da quelle fino ad ora presentate, infatti si caratterizza per uno slogan che dichiara "I am a fashion blogger...follow me", arricchito da un paio di stiletti rossi sotto la scritta e da una fila di borchie intorno al collo. La giacca che vedete in queste foto l'avevo adocchiata da Zara a Milano ma, non essendo del tutto convinta, non l'avevo acquistata. Pochi giorni dopo sono ritornata per prenderla ma era terminata. A quel punto la volevo assolutamente e, non riuscendo più a trovarla in nessuno stores, mi è venuta in soccorso la mia cara amica Nadia che l'ha scovata in quel di Dublino e me l'ha spedita!
Le zeppe di Jeffrey Campbell invece arrivano direttamente da Carson City e sono uno dei miei acquisti online che, ultimemente, faccio sempre più spesso! A proposito di Jeffrey Campbell, ma avete visto che belli che sono i suoi nuovi clogs? Li ho già inseriti nella mia wishing list!
Ho deciso poi di sfoggiare subito alcuni dei miei acquisti fatti in California, ovvero l'anello con teschio di Tarina Tarantino, la Balenciaga blu elettrico e lo smalto grigio di American Apparel.

In these days I've had very little time to do some new pics, so I’ve tought to propose to you this outfit worn a little 'time ago but not yet published on my blog. Grey is one of my favorite colors, and when my eyes were laid on the Chanel 2.55 Jumbo that you see in these photos, I couldn’t resist, I had to buy it! Shortly after, at Bershka, I find these grey leopard leggings that matched perfectly. Final touch, one of my creations: handmade crochet hoop earrings with geometric decorations inside, just in the same shade. As for my trip, after spending three days in Las Vegas, we adventured into the Grand Canyon, the Four Corners (the only point throughout the USA where they meet the boundaries of four different states, Arizona , Utah, Colorado and New Mexico), the Petrified Forest and Meteor Crater. We have ground many miles in the middle of nowhere, where we even had trouble finding a place to stop to eat or sleep, a real adventure! After a long journey, driving also along the historic Route 66 which I propose to you my picture below, we reached Anheim and we couldn’t spend a day at Disneyland! We spent the next few days in the sunny Orange County, especially in Laguna Beach and Newport Beach. Now I’m back in LA and, unfortunately, in a few days I’ll return to Italy.

Dato che in questi giorni ho avuto pochissimo tempo a disposizione per scattare delle nuove foto, ho pensato di proporvi questo outfit indossato un po’ di tempo fa ma non ancora pubblicato sul mio blog. Il grigio è uno dei miei colori preferiti e quando i miei occhi si sono posati sulla Chanel 2.55 Jumbo che vedete in queste foto, non ho potuto resistere, ho dovuto acquistarla! Poco dopo, da Bershka, ho scovato questi leggings leopardati sempre sul grigio che si abbinavano perfettamente. Tocco finale, una delle mie creazioni: gli orecchini a cerchio rivestiti all’uncinetto e con decorazioni geometriche all’interno, proprio nella stessa tonalità. Per quanto concerne il mio viaggio, dopo aver trascorso tre giorni a Las Vegas, ci siamo avventuarti verso il Grand Canyon, il Four Corners (l’unico punto in tutti gli USA in cui si incontrano i confini di quattro stati diversi, l’Arizona, lo Utah, il Colorado e il New Mexico), la Petrified Forest e il Meteor Crater. It was a bit of time that I didn’t presented to you one of my creations. So, here it’s a new model of t-shirt, characterized by a cloth application directly sewed onto the t-shirt. The subject is inspired by the famous black and white tweed Chanel jacket, enriched with four little pockets and some decorative buttons with a central pearl. You have to know that my other great passion is design and due to this reason I’m particularly fond of this red chair with a flower shape by Edra, which you can see in some of these photos.

In the end, a final farewell to Alexander McQueen who tragically passed away a few days ago. The fashion world has lost a great creative genius that will never be forgotten.

Era da un po’ di tempo che non vi presentavo una delle mie creazioni. Ecco quindi un nuovo modello di t-shirt, caratterizzato da un’applicazione in stoffa cucita direttamente sulla maglietta. Il soggetto è ispirato alla famosa giacca in tweed bianco e nero di Chanel, arricchita da quattro taschini e da alcuni bottoni gioiello in metallo dorato con perla centrale. First I have to thank you once again for all the wonderful comments you leave me and for the e-mails you send me. I have many new ideas which I hope to realize and, therefore, to show you. I’m also following a new project that is close to my heart and I hope to give you good news about it very soon.

In this outfit I bring together all my favourite colors: gray, electric blue and coral. When I spotted this dress at Zara, I couldn’t stay without buying it ... Jesus, It’s so 80s that it couldn’t be mine! The earrings are another of my creations: they’re small wood balls covered with coral crochet with little bows spaced by three true coral beads. Innanzitutto devo ringrazirvi ancora una volta per tutti i bellissimi commenti che mi lasciate e per le e-mails che mi inviate. Ho moltissime idee nuove che spero di riuscire a realizzare e, quindi, a proporvi. Sto seguendo anche un nuovo progetto che mi sta molto a cuore e, spero di darvi presto una bella notizia a riguardo.

In questo outfit ho riunito tutti i miei colori preferiti: il grigio, il blu elettrico ed il corallo. Quando ho adocchiato questo abito da Zara non ho potuto fare a meno di comprarlo…Cielo! E’ così anni ’80 che non poteva non essere mio! Gli orecchini sono un’altra delle mie creazioni: si tratta di palline di legno rivestite all’uncinetto color corallo con fiocchetto distanziato da tre perline di vero corallo.
