I firmly believe that first of all fashion is fun: while we’re shopping and when we choose what to wear we gotta have fun and feel good about ourselves. Then having to tidy up the huge amount of scattered clothes in our room maybe can make us smile a bit 'less but it will always worth it! That's why I believe that with a very free and independent form of communication like fashion, you should always try and get rid of the fear of failure that brings with it a tendency to never try alternative ways and stay within certain preconceived. With this look I wanted to venture far, combining first of all two prints at the antipodes: the little white angels of the Dolce&Gabbana transparent shirt with the pony leopard of the Zara clutch and the Yves Saint Laurent sandals, all paired with a Zara preppy skirt. The second strong element are the tights bought on Asos with gold decorated garters combined with my new H&M golden nailpolish. The shots were taken on a set that required several hours of work to achieve this effect. I’m very satisfied of the result, what do you think about it?

Sono fermamente convinta che la moda sia prima di tutto divertimento: mentre facciamo shopping e quando scegliamo cosa indossare dobbiamo divertirci e stare bene con noi stesse. Dover poi riordinare l’enorme quantità di vestiti sparsi nella nostra camera forse ci potrà far sorridere un po’ meno ma ne varrà sempre la pena! Ecco perché credo che con una forma di comunicazione così libera ed indipendente quale è la moda, occorra sempre sperimentare e sbarazzarsi della paura di sbagliare che porta con sé la tendenza a non provare mai strade alternative e rimanere sempre all’interno di certi schemi precostituiti. Con questo look ho voluto osare molto, abbinando innanzitutto due fantasie agli antipodi: i piccoli angeli bianchi della camicia trasparente di Dolce&Gabbana con il cavallino leopardato della clutch di Zara e dei sandali di Yves Saint Laurent, il tutto abbinato ad una gonnellina a pieghe di Zara. Secondo elemento forte le calze acquistate su Asos con reggicalze oro decorato a riprendere il mio nuovo smalto dorato di H&M. Gli scatti sono stati fatti su un set che ha richiesto diverse ore di lavoro per ottenere questo effetto. Io sono molto soddisfatta del risultato, voi cosa ne pensate?

I’m very proud of these shots, I think they have a real soul. The fluorescent light combined with the metallic fabric of the leggings and the reflection of the wet floor creates a "fluid" effect that is, from my point of view, so impressive: I hope you enjoy it as well.
The outfit I chose, in line with the location, is very street and focused on the grey and black shades with metallic accents and just one color touch given by my fluo pink nailpolish. So, I wear Pinko charcoal leggings, polka-dot covered with silver glitter sweater, purchased online on Topshop and a warm Who’s Who lapin jacket. I couldn’t complete the look with my Stella McCartney Falabella bag, entirely covered with studs, the Burberry Prorsum boots and the Asos claw bracelet that I finally managed to wear for the first time. .

Sono particolarmente soddisfatta di questi scatti, credo abbiano una vera e propria anima. La luce fluorescente unita al tessuto metallizzato dei leggings e al riflesso del pavimento bagnato crea un effetto “fluido” che dal mio punto di vista risulta davvero molto suggestivo: spero lo possiate apprezzare anche voi.
L’outfit che ho scelto, in linea con la location, è molto street e focalizzato sui toni del grigio e del nero con accenni metallici ed un unico tocco di colore dato dalla smalto rosa fluo. Indosso quindi leggings di Pinko antracite, maglia con pois ricoperti di brillantini argento, acquistata online da Topshop ed una calda giacca di lapin di Who’s Who. Non potevo non completare il look con la mia Falabella di Stella McCartney, interamente ricoperta di borchie, gli stivali di Burberry Prorsum ed il bracciale-artiglio di Asos che finalmente dopo diverso tempo sono riuscita ad indossare per la prima volta.

These shots were taken in a building yard with the aim of creating a contrast between the background and my outfit. On one hand, we have the typical scenario of a house under construction: bricks, cement, dust, tools, in short a very rough and chaotic location. In contrast we find, instead, my outfit, so bon-ton and delicate: floral shorts, powder tank top and brown leather suspenders, all fortunately discovered a few days ago at Oysho, since the first time I tried, it was already sold out. Completing the look my beloved grey 2.55 Chanel jumbo bag, just in the same shade of the American Apparel nailpolish and, as a single note over the top, the Miu Miu clogs. I love to entrust to the shoes a touch of madness that animates the whole outfit!

Questi scatti sono stati realizzati in un cantiere edile con l’obiettivo di creare un contrasto tra l’ambiente circostante ed il mio outfit. Da un lato, infatti, abbiamo lo scenario tipico di una casa in costruzione: mattoni, cemento, polvere, attrezzi, insomma una location assolutamente grezza e caotica. In contrapposizione troviamo, invece, il mio outfit, molto bon-ton e delicato: shorts floreali, canotta color cipria e bretelle in pelle marrone, il tutto scovato fortunatamente pochi giorni fa da Oysho, visto che la prima volta che l’avevo cercato era già terminato. Completano il look la mia adorata Chanel 2.55 jumbo di colore grigio, proprio della stessa tonalità dello smalto di American Apparel e, unica nota sopra le righe, gli zoccoli di Miu Miu. Amo affidare alle scarpe quel tocco di follia che vivacizza l’intero outfit!

These photos were taken in a school basketball just before the arrival of a storm and I especially like their street atmosphere. I enjoyed trying to score and, as you can see, in the end I did it. The look of the day was very simple: a pair of black shorts and a Happiness is a $10 tee t-shirt with a really ironic slogan declaring "Fashion till death", bought a few days ago along with another one that I’ll show you soon. I also raised my new dizzy Paciotti sandals (definitely not suitable for any sport!), along with the Marc Jacobs studded purse, small but very comfortable. And what do you think about my new Asos ring? Those who follow me on Twitter or Facebook already know that in this last period I was addicted to online shopping...somebody stop me please!

Queste foto sono state scattate in un campo da basket di una scuola poco prima dell’arrivo di un temporale e mi piacciono in modo particolare per la loro atmosfera street. Mi sono divertita a provare a fare canestro e, come potete vedere, alla fine ce l’ho fatta. Il look del giorno era molto semplice: un paio di shorts neri ed una t-shirt di Happiness is a 10$ tee con uno slogan davvero ironico che dichiara “Fashion till death”, acquistata pochi giorni fa insieme ad un’altra che presto vi mostrerò. Ho sfoggiato anche i miei nuovi vertiginosi sandali di Paciotti (decisamente poco adatti a qualsiasi attività sportiva!), insieme alla borsa tempestata di borchie di Marc Jacobs, piccola ma davvero molto comoda. E cosa ne dite del mio nuovo anello di Asos? Chi mi segue su Twitter o su Facebook saprà già che in questo ultimo periodo mi sono data allo shopping online…qualcuno mi fermi per favore!!!
