I suppose that you, just like me, want to leave the camel coats, the grey wool scarves and the fur boots that have accompanied us during this long and cold winter, to dive into color and lightness of Spring: so green light to the most daring color mix and go-ahead for the color experimentation. I decided to pull two strong colors that will be a real must for the upcoming season, electric blue and orange, adding a touch of emerald green thanks to the Kiko nailpolish, the H&M cuff and the snake ring. So I've chose to wear a pair of simple Dondup trousers with a nice tee and the new leather powder jacket, both by H&M. The accessories have certainly played a key role: the Balenciaga City Classic bag that I bought in Vegas, the Balenciaga sandals with orange profiles and, finally, the Jimmy Choo for H&M scarf and, of course, my beloved Yves Saint Laurent ring. What do you think about the final result?

Immagino che anche voi, proprio come me, abbiate voglia di abbandonare i cappotti cammello, le sciarpe di lana grigia e gli stivali imbottiti che ci hanno accompagnato durante questo lungo e freddo inverno, per tuffarvi nel colore e nella leggerezza della Primavera: via libera allora agli accostamenti cromatici più azzardati e largo alla sperimentazione cromatica. Io ho deciso di accostare due colori molto forti che saranno un vero e proprio tormentone per la stagione che sta arrivando, il blu elettrico e l’arancio, aggiungendo anche un tocco di verde smeraldo grazie allo smalto di Kiko, al bracciale di H&M e all’anello a forma di serpente. Ho scelto quindi di indossare un paio di semplici pantaloni di Dondup con una simpatica t-shirt e la nuova giacca di pelle color cipria, entrambe di H&M. Gli accessori hanno sicuramente avuto un ruolo fondamentale: la Balenciaga City Classic che avevo acquistato a Las Vegas, i sandali di Balenciaga con profili arancio e, per finire, la sciarpa di Jimmy Choo for H&M e, ovviamente, il mio adorato anello di Yves Saint Laurent. Cosa ne pensate del risultato finale?

When it comes the first cold what's better than renting a dvd and watching it comfortably lying on the sofa while eating junk food? Well, after some healthy online shopping on Asos and Topshop, I think nothing better! We could talk about the fact that I generally rent five dvds to watch only one or, often, I fall asleep during that one and I have to watch the end again the next day or even that I find myself on the sofa with various stains of grease, cause chips slipped from my hands without noticing it. But here, it will be useful to talk about what I wore when we took these photos in a Blockbuster: a definitely rock and aggressive look with the leather as a star. I chose, in fact, H&M leggings with leather inserts, electric blue long tank top with geometric references and the jacket from the Jimmy Choo for H&M collection. Final touch the Zadig&Voltaire biker boots with buckle covered with small skulls and, of course, the Balenciaga electric blue City Classic bag.

Cosa c’è di meglio quando arriva il primo freddo che noleggiare un dvd e guardarselo sdraiati comodamente sul divano mentre si mangia cibo-spazzatura? Beh, dopo del sano shopping online su Asos e Topshop, credo nulla! Potremmo parlare del fatto che generalmente noleggio cinque dvd per guardarne solamente uno o che, spesso, durante quell’uno mi addormento e mi tocca riguardarmi il finale il giorno successivo o, ancora, del fatto che mi ritrovo il divano con varie macchie di unto, causa patatine scivolate dalle mie mani senza che neanche me ne accorga. Ma in questa sede, sarà più utile parlarvi di ciò che indossavo quando abbiamo scattato queste foto all’interno di un Blockbuster: look decisamente rock e aggressivo con la pelle come protagonista assoluta. Ho scelto, infatti, dei leggings di H&M con inserti in pelle, lungo top blu elettrico con richiami geometrici e giubbotto della collezione Jimmy Choo for H&M. Tocco finale gli stivali da motociclista di Zadig&Voltaire con fibbia ricoperta da piccoli teschi e, ovviamente, la Balenciaga City Classic blu elettrico.

Really, I don't know why you don't have a spotlight in your purse!

A few nights ago we decided to take pictures, trying to catch the "blue hour", that short period of time when the sky takes on a deep blue color in photos, as if it was colored with a marker. This is a very short moment, just before the darkness envelops everything. You can well notice this effect in the fourth and last picture in which, as you can see, I scream like a mad because I'm realizing that the light at our disposal is running out. Hence the ironic title too: I asked to a friend who was with us why she didn’t have a spotlight in her purse to come to our rescue!!! So here is the result of a bit’ shorter post than usual but I hope you enjoy it anyway.

About the outfit, I decided to focus on color. And when I think about color I can only choose to wear a M Missoni dress, in which the shades of pink blend with orange and red ones, combined with the Louis Vuitton Alma multicolor bag and the new Balenciaga sandals with fluo profiles, purchased on sale at 10 CorsoComo. Final touch, the Kiko orange nailpolish, my inseparable Yves Saint Laurent ring and three vintage plastic bracelets in different shades from powder to fuchsia.

Qualche sera fa abbiamo deciso di scattare delle foto cercando di cogliere la cosiddetta “ora blu”, ovvero quel brevissimo lasso di tempo in cui il cielo assume in foto un colore blu intenso, come se fosse colorato con un pennarello. Si tratta di un breve istante, poco prima che il buio avvolga ogni cosa. Questo effetto si nota bene nella quarta e nell’ultima foto in cui, come potete vedere, strillo come una matta perché mi sto accorgendo che sta finendo la luce a nostra disposizione. Di qui anche il titolo ironico: ho chiesto ad un’amica che era con noi come mai non avesse un faretto in borsa per venire in nostro soccorso!!! Comunque, ecco il risultato, un post un po’ più breve del solito ma che, spero, possiate apprezzare ugualmente.

Per quanto riguarda l’outfit, ho deciso di puntare sul colore. E quando penso al colore non posso che scegliere di indossare un abito di M Missoni, in cui i toni del rosa si fondono a quelli dell’arancio e del rosso, abbinato all’Alma multicolor di Louis Vuitton e ai nuovi sandali di Balenciaga con profili fluo, acquistati in saldo da 10 CorsoComo. Tocco finale lo smalto arancio di Kiko, il mio inseparabile anello di Yves Saint Laurent e tre bracciali vintage in plastica in diverse gradazioni, dal cipria al fucsia.

Whenever I go to Monaco seems to enter another dimension, so far from real life. Frenzy and stress always present in my days, magically disappear when crossing boundary and enter this paradise: sun, sea, great boutiques and fairytale yachts. This weekend took also place the annual Formula One race that unfortunately I am not able to document it to you because I downloaded camera battery and I left charger at home (I felt that something was missing in my suitcase!). I hope you enjoy these pictures taken by my boyfriend anyway.

Finally, also thanks to a very good weather, I could show off the first summer outfit of this year, my H&M striped dress bought in Hollywood; although, towards evening, I had to shelter from the breeze with the trench I call the "cloud " as it is made of rows of whiteness ruffles, by Jacques Dhiab, a talented designer friend of mine. Soon I’ll show you his other awesome creations.

Tutte le volte che vado a Monaco mi sembra di entrare in un’altra dimensione, molto lontana dalla vita reale. La frenesia e lo stress che accompagnano le mie giornate, come per magia, scompaiono quando varco il confine ed entro in questo vero e proprio paradiso: sole, mare, boutiques da sogno e yatchs da favola. In questo week-end, inoltre, si è svolta l’annuale gara di Formula Uno che, purtroppo, non sono riuscita a documentarvi perché mi si è scaricata la batteria della macchina fotografica ed il caricabatterie è rimasto a casa (avevo la sensazione che mancasse qualcosa in valigia!). Spero possiate apprezzare ugualmente queste foto scattate dal mio fidanzato.

Finalmente, complice il clima davvero piacevole, ho potuto sfoggiare il primo outfit estivo di quest’anno, il mio abito a righe di H&M acquistato ad Hollywood; anche se, verso sera, ho dovuto ripararmi dalla brezza con il trench che io chiamo “nuvola” dato che è costituito da file di ruches bianco candido, di Jacques Dhiab, un amico stilista di grande talento. Presto vi mostrerò altre sue creazioni davvero incredibili.

After a long plane trip, after watching the sun rise twice in a day, but above all after spending an incredible month in California that made me miss a bit my blog, I'm back with a lot of news and projects that I hope you will enjoy.
The first and most important one is the t-shirt I'm wearing in this outfit. This is one of my new creation, but a bit different from those already presented, in fact it features a slogan declaring "I am a fashion blogger...follow me" enriched by a pair of red stilettos under the slogan and a row of studs around the neck. You find all the details of this item in my online shop, a bit of shopping.

I saw the jacket you see in these pics at Zara in Milan, but being not entirely convinced, I decided to not take it. A few days later I came back to take it but it was sold out. At that point, I wanted it absolutely, but no longer able to find it in any store, came to my rescue my dear friend Nadia, who had found it in Dublin and sent it to me!
The Jeffrey Campbell wedges, instead, directly come from Carson City and they are one of my online purchases that, in the last period, I do more often! About Jeffrey Campbell, did you see how beautiful are his new clogs? I've already added them in my wishing list!
Then, I decided to show off some of my purchases from Caifornia, Tarina Tarantino skull, electric blue Balenciaga and American Apparel grey nailpolish.

Dopo un lungo viaggio aereo, dopo aver visto sorgere il sole due volte in uno stesso giorno, ma soprattutto dopo aver trascorso un mese incredibile in California che mi ha fatto trascurare un po' il mio blog, eccomi di nuovo qui, con tante novità e progetti che spero potrete apprezzare.
La prima e la più importante riguarda la t-shirt che indosso in questo outfit. Si tratta di una mia nuova creazione, un po' diversa però da quelle fino ad ora presentate, infatti si caratterizza per uno slogan che dichiara "I am a fashion blogger...follow me", arricchito da un paio di stiletti rossi sotto la scritta e da una fila di borchie intorno al collo. La giacca che vedete in queste foto l'avevo adocchiata da Zara a Milano ma, non essendo del tutto convinta, non l'avevo acquistata. Pochi giorni dopo sono ritornata per prenderla ma era terminata. A quel punto la volevo assolutamente e, non riuscendo più a trovarla in nessuno stores, mi è venuta in soccorso la mia cara amica Nadia che l'ha scovata in quel di Dublino e me l'ha spedita!
Le zeppe di Jeffrey Campbell invece arrivano direttamente da Carson City e sono uno dei miei acquisti online che, ultimemente, faccio sempre più spesso! A proposito di Jeffrey Campbell, ma avete visto che belli che sono i suoi nuovi clogs? Li ho già inseriti nella mia wishing list!
Ho deciso poi di sfoggiare subito alcuni dei miei acquisti fatti in California, ovvero l'anello con teschio di Tarina Tarantino, la Balenciaga blu elettrico e lo smalto grigio di American Apparel.
