These photos were taken a few days ago during an enjoyable lunch break. For this occasion I opted for color once again, choosing to wear a pair of purple Atos Lombardini pants and a Zara top, in which stands out one of my fav colors right now, orange. My inevitable heels, a pair of purple Fendi sandals paired with the fun Christian Dior Detective bag. My vintage purple stones necklace, my Baccarat bracelet bought in Prague, my Yves Saint Laurent ring from Rodeo Drive boutique in Beverly Hills and therefore full of amazing memories and, in the end, a Kiko bright orange nailpolish to completing the look.

Queste foto sono state scattate qualche giorno fa durante una piacevole pausa pranzo. Per l’occasione ho optato ancora una volta per il colore, scegliendo di indossare un paio di pantaloni viola di Atos Lombardini ed un top di Zara in cui spicca una delle tonalità da me preferite in questo momento, l’arancio. Immancabili i miei tacchi, un paio di sandali viola di Fendi abbinati alla divertente Detective bag di Christian Dior. A completare il look una collana vintage con pietre viola, un bracciale di Baccarat acquistato a Praga, l’anello di Yves Saint Laurent proveniente dalla boutique di Rodeo Drive a Beverly Hills e pertanto ricco di fantastici ricordi ed, infine, uno smalto arancio brillante di Kiko.

These days at the end of March, between hints of Spring and aftermath of Winter, we always have been undecided about the outfit to wear. As you can see in these shots, I chose a simple look enriched, however, with some quite important accessories. I’ve opted, in fact, for a pair of jeans and for a tweed jacket both by Dolce&Gabbana, combined with a Sandro basic t-shirt. As I told you, I wanted to highlight this outfit with accessories: the Yves Saint Laurent leopard pony sandals, my beloved Fendi Peekaboo bag and a vintage gold and grenades ring. Final touch given by the Yves Saint Laurent neon orange lipstick, recently purchased together with the shocking pink one, my favorite colors for next season!

In questi giorni di fine marzo, tra accenni di Primavera e strascichi di Inverno, si è sempre indecisi sul tipo di outfit da indossare. Come potete vedere in questi scatti io ho scelto un look davvero semplice arricchito, però, da accessori piuttosto importanti. Ho optato, infatti, per un paio di jeans ed una giacca in tweed entrambi di Dolce&Gabbana, abbinati ad una t-shirt basica di Sandro. Come vi dicevo, ho voluto valorizzare questo outfit con gli accessori: i sandali in cavallino leopardato di Yves Saint Laurent, la mia adorata Peekaboo di Fendi ed un anello vintage in oro e granate. Tocco finale il rossetto arancio fluo di Yves Saint Laurent acquistato recentemente insieme al rosa shocking, i miei colori preferiti per la prossima stagione!

After having anticipated it to you several time, now is the time of my departure and here it is my itinerary. Beijing will be the first city I’m going to visit, in which I’ll stay for about five days before moving to Shanghai for six days. I’ll spend the next five days in Bangkok, then making a brief stop in Kuala Lumpur. And finally, ten days of complete relax in Pom Pom Island, a paradise lost in the sea of Celebes, off the Malaysian Borneo’s coasts. Now can you understand my suitcase crisis? I will pass by the freezing temperatures that characterize China in this period to the torrid and humid heat of Thailand and Malaysia, having to deal with nine flights, some trips by boat and the inevitable local purchases. So these are the last photos taken before I left for which I have chosen a rather classic look: Pinko wool trousers and leopard sweater, combined with my new Zara coat that, for its peculiarity of not possessing any type of lacing, I closed with the Moschino belt. The Fendi blue suede ankle boots and the Yves Saint Laurent Downtown bag complete the look together with the vintage clock necklace. What do you think about the location? I assure you that finding some abandoned chairs was a surprise even for me and Manuela and we couldn’t miss the chance to use them, they have a decadent touch that I adore.

Dopo avervelo anticipato più volte, è arrivato il momento della mia partenza ed ecco in breve il mio itinerario. La prima città che visiterò sarà Pechino, dove mi tratterrò cinque giorni circa per poi spostarmi a Shanghai per altri sei giorni. I successivi cinque giorni li trascorrerò a Bangkok, per poi fare una breve tappa a Kuala Lumpur. Ed infine, dieci giorni di assoluto relax a Pom Pom Island, un paradiso sperduto nel mare di Celebes, al lago delle coste del Borneo malese. Ora potete comprendere la mia crisi valigia? Passerò dalle temperature polari che caratterizzano la Cina in questo periodo al caldo torrido e umido della Thailandia e della Malesia, dovendo fare i conti con novi voli aerei, alcuni spostamenti in barca e gli inevitabili acquisti in loco. Queste sono quindi le ultime foto scattate prima della mia partenza per le quali ho scelto un look piuttosto classico: pantaloni in lana e maglia maculata di Pinko, abbinati al mio nuovo cappotto di Zara che, avendo la particolarità di non possedere nessun tipo di allacciatura, ho chiuso con la cintura di Moschino. Stivaletti in camoscio blu di Fendi e Downtown di Yves Saint Laurent completano il look insieme alla monachella vintage. Cosa ne dite della location? Vi assicuro che trovare delle sedie abbandonate è stata una sorpresa anche per me e Manuela e non potevamo certo farci sfuggire l’occasione di utilizzarle, hanno un tocco decadente che adoro.

In eight days I’ll be off to discover a new corner of the world and I couldn’t be happier. Traveling is one of the things that give me more joy and satisfaction in my life and that allow me to broaden the horizons of my mind more and more. As I mentioned earlier, this long journey will target the East: I'll give you all the details of my itinerary in one of the next posts. So in these days I’m very busy in getting everything ready but I was still able to carve out a few moments of relax, as evidenced by these shots. Despite the sunshine, the temperature was very low so I opted for a comfortable and warm look: a pair of H&M leggings with leather inserts, a black basic sweater and a soft fur cardigan. Concerning the accessories, I chose to wear the Zadig&Voltaire biker boots, a pair of Fendi sunglasses, the clutch with fringes and the rings depicting different animals, both recently purchased at H&M.

Tra otto giorni partirò alla scoperta di un nuovo angolo di mondo e non potrei essere più felice. Viaggiare è una delle cose che mi danno maggiore gioia e soddisfazione nella mia vita e che mi consentono di allargare gli orizzonti della mia mente sempre di più. Come vi avevo già anticipato questo lungo viaggio avrà come destinazione l’Oriente: vi darò tutti i dettagli del mio itinerario in uno dei prossimi post. In questi giorni sono quindi molto indaffarata nei preparativi ma sono comunque riuscita a ritagliarmi un piccolo momento di relax, come testimoniano questi scatti. Nonostante il sole splendente, la temperatura era molto bassa così ho optato per un look comodo e caldo: un paio di leggings di H&M con inserti in pelle, una maglia nera basica ed un morbido cardigan di pelliccia. Per quanto riguarda gli accessori ho scelto di indossare i biker boots di Zadig&Voltaire, un paio di occhiali da sole di Fendi, la pochette con le frange e gli anelli raffiguranti diversi animali, entrambi acquistati recentemente da H&M.

These pics were taken a few days ago in a viewpoint of a village near my house: the cold was biting but the view was breathtaking. We now come to the end of 2010 and it’s normal to weight all the pros and cons of the year that has just gone and wonder about what the new one is planning for us. I’m very happy about the results achieved by my blog and I hope to keep on this way and get better and better. About the future, the only certainty for the moment is my journey to the East in February and its organization is taking up all my time and my energy in these days. Plans for the New Year’s Eve? I'll spend it with friends: dinner, little 'music and many toasts!
About my look, the thermometer below zero made me choose my Annabella pearl gray fur jacket, combined with a pair of Sandro leather trousers and a Pinko oversize turtleneck sweater. The big star was my new Peekaboo Fendi bag, with a pair of Gucci vertiginous platforms and some gold accessories: starting from the Yves Saint Laurent ring, through the hoop earrings, to the beautiful vintage clock necklace given to me by Manuela for my birthday. A touch of color, the H&M coral nailpolish.

Questi scatti sono stati realizzati qualche giorno fa in un punto panoramico di un paesino vicino a casa mia: il freddo era pungente ma il panorama era davvero mozzafiato. Siamo oramai giunti alla fine di questo 2010 ed è normale sia fare un bilancio dell’anno che è appena trascorso sia immaginare cosa ci riserverà quello venturo. Io sono molto felice dei risultati raggiunti dal mio blog e spero di proseguire su questa strada e migliorare sempre di più. Per quanto riguarda il futuro l’unica certezza, per ora, è il mio viaggio ad Oriente che farò a Febbraio e la cui organizzazione sta occupando tutto il mio tempo e le mie energie di questi giorni. Programmi per Capodanno? Io lo passerò tra amici: una cena, un po’ di musica e molti brindisi!
Per quanto riguarda il mio look, il termometro sotto zero mi ha fatto optare per la mia giacchina di pelliccia grigio perla di Annabella, abbinata ad un paio di pantaloni di pelle di Sandro e ad un maglione oversize con collo alto di Pinko. Grande protagonista la mia nuova Peekaboo di Fendi, accostata ad un paio di vertiginose platforms di Gucci e a diversi accessori dorati: dall’anello di Yves Saint Laurent, passando per gli orecchini a cerchio, fino alla stupenda monachella vintage, la collana con orologio regalatami da Manuela per il mio compleanno. Tocco di colore, lo smalto corallo di H&M.

Although a bit late (I’m so sorry for that but the shipping had slowed down!) I'm very happy and proud to contribute with my blog to Democratic Wear project by Coin: the focus is to promote young designers from all over the world committed to creating exclusive clothing, for the fixed price of 10 euros, making the limited edition shopping experience accessible to all but with a “democratic” price.
A deep blue denim, two small white prints on back pockets, inspired by Japanese images, symbol of the feminine and masculine, belonging to the culture of the designer, Yuka Morinishi, and an extraordinary fit: here the main features of these jeans that, combined with a very attractive price, they make them the best purchase in this beginning of Spring.
I have heard that they are already sold out, I hope you still find them in all Italian Coin stores.

These shots, for which I have to thank the always present Manuela and Marco Pagani, were made at the Water@Show, which took place last Saturday at the Pontili Canottieri Lesa (NO) to present a new line of boats, Frauscher Italy. I thank Officina nautica Lupo that kindly allowed me to board and realize this set.
I decided to wear these jeans with a cute vintage Mickey Mouse t-shirt that I bought at Disneyland and an Urban Outfitters striped cardigan, the result of a compulsive shopping day in Melrose Avenue. The YSL Downtown, however, was a bargain, I found it at half price, unbelievable isn’t it?

Anche se un po’ in ritardo (e per ciò mi scuso ma la spedizione ha subito dei rallentamenti!) sono davvero felice ed orgogliosa di contribuire con il mio blog al progetto Democratic Wear, realizzato da Coin: l’obiettivo è quello di promuovere giovani stilisti di tutto il mondo impegnati a creare capi di abbigliamento esclusivi, al prezzo unico di 10 euro, rendendo così accessibile a tutti l’esperienza d’acquisto di capi in limited edition ma ad un prezzo “democratico”.
Un denim dal colore blu intenso, due piccole stampe bianche sulle tasche posteriori che prendono spunto dalle immagini giapponesi simbolo del femminile e del maschile, proprie della cultura della designer che li ha ideati, Yuka Morinishi, ed una vestibilità straordinaria: ecco le caratteristiche principali di questi jeans che, unite ad un prezzo davvero allettante, li rendono il migliore acquisto da fare in questo inizio di Primavera. La Downtown di YSL, invece, è stata un vero affare, dato che l’ho trovata a metà prezzo, incredibile vero?
