Hello my dear readers, here I am back to normal life after my long and wonderful experience in China, Thailand and Malaysia. I confess that I really want to take new pics with Manuela and to be able to have access to my whole closet. After recovering from the jet-lag and regaining the space-time consciousness, I realized that we were in Carnival’s time, so I thought about my personal way of interpreting this festival. In fact, I played with the colors of the nailpolish to create a harlequin manicure and I used two different shades of lipstick. Then I gave a further touch of color wearing two funny watches which are part of a fantastic box set given to me by Swatch. Concerning the outfit, I chose to wear a basic jeans and my beloved studded jacket, both by Zara, a Topshop vest with cuts on the sleeves, the Jimmy Choo clutch and, finally, my new Jeffrey Campbell Lita glitter boots.

Buongiorno mie cari lettori, eccomi ritornata alla normalità dopo la mia lunga ed incredibile esperienza tra Cina, Tailandia e Malesia. Vi confesso che avevo davvero voglia di scattare nuove foto insieme a Manuela e di poter avere a disposizione tutto il mio guardaroba. Dopo essermi ripresa dal fuso orario ed aver riacquistato la cognizione spazio-temporale, mi sono resa conto che eravamo in periodo di Carnevale, così ho pensato di interpretare a mio modo questa festività. Ho infatti giocato con i colori dello smalto per creare una manicure arlecchino e ho utilizzato due tonalità diverse di rossetto. Ho poi dato un ulteriore tocco di colore indossando due dei divertenti orologi facenti parte di un fantastico cofanetto regalatomi da Swatch. Per quanto riguarda l’outfit ho scelto di indossare dei pratici jeans e la mia adorata giacca borchiata, entrambi di Zara, una maglietta di Topshop con dei tagli lungo le maniche, la clutch di Jimmy Choo ed, infine, le mie nuove Lita glitterate di Jeffrey Campbell.

After leaving the cold China, we headed to Thailand, exactly to Bangkok where we spent five days. This is a fascinating city but the weather is just too muggy for my taste. This however did not prevent me to do everything that I had set, including a visit to the Royal Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, some discricts with their characteristic street markets such as Sukhumvit and Silom and, of course, a visit to the Asia's largest shopping mall, the Siam Paragon. Right here I could find the Jeffrey Campbell Lita glitter boots  that I was looking for some time but they were always sold out. Excessive? Maybe a bit but you know me, isn’t it?

Another amazing experience was having dinner at Hajime, the first Japanese robot restaurant. Each table has a touch screen through which you place your order directly to the kitchen. After a few minutes a countdown starts on the monitor and within a few seconds the robot struts to the table with trays full of the food required.

Lasciata la fredda Cina, ci siamo diretti verso la Tailandia, precisamente a Bangkok dove abbiamo trascorso cinque giorni. Si tratta di una metropoli molto affascinante ma dal clima veramente troppo afoso per i miei gusti. Questo non mi ha impedito comunque di fare tutto ciò che mi ero preposta, tra cui la visita al Palazzo Reale e al Tempio del Buddha di Smeraldo, alcuni quartieri caratteristici per i loro mercati di strada come Sukhumvit e Silom e, ovviamente, una capatina al più grande centro commerciale asiatico, il Siam Paragon. Proprio qui sono riuscita a trovare le Lita glitterate di Jeffrey Campbell, che cercavo da diverso tempo ma erano sempre sold out. Eccessive? Un po’ forse ma mi conoscete no?

Un’altra esperienza straordinaria è stato cenare da Hajime, il primo ristorante giapponese robotizzato. Ogni tavolo è dotato di un video touch screen mediante il quale si effettua l’ordine direttamente alla cucina. Trascorsi pochi minuti, sul monitor parte un conto alla rovescia e nel giro di pochi secondi il robot incede verso il tavolo con vassoi pieni delle pietanze richieste.

American Apparel is definitely one of my stops for shopping and untill a bit time ago, every time I went in my eye fell upon these fluorescent pink leggings, but the question that sticks in my mind was always the same: "When, where and why should I wear a pair of fluo pink leggings?" and the answer was automatic: "Maybe only to shoot an aerobics video in a very Eighties style". But we know that when we women have one thing in mind, we will hardly give up. Furthermore, fluo seems to be the dominant trend of the upcoming summer. So during my last trip to America, I finally purchased them. Because of their extremely challenging color, I decided to combine them with a simple black shirt, close to waist by an elastic belt, and my Jeffrey Campbell studded wedges. What do you think about this outfit and above all about these particular shots both thanks to the location and the final effect?

American Apparel è sicuramente una delle mie tappe fisse per lo shopping e, fino ad un po’ di tempo fa, ogni volta che entravo, l’occhio mi cadeva su questi leggings rosa fosforescente, ma la domanda che si insinuava nella mia mente era sempre la stessa: “Quando, dove e perché avrei indossato un paio di leggings rosa fluo?” e la risposta era automatica: ”Forse solo per girare un video di aerobica in puro stile anni Ottanta!”. Ma si sa che quando noi donne abbiamo in mente una cosa, difficilmente vi rinunciamo. Inoltre il fluo sembra essere la tendenza dominante dell’estate che sta arrivando. Così durante il mio ultimo viaggio in America, li ho finalmente acquistati. Dato il loro colore piuttosto impegnativo ho deciso di abbinarli ad una semplice maglia nera, stretta in vita da una cintura elastica, e alle mie zeppe borchiate di Jeffrey Campbell. Cosa ne pensate dell’outfit e soprattutto di questi scatti molto particolari sia per la location che per l’effetto finale?

After a long plane trip, after watching the sun rise twice in a day, but above all after spending an incredible month in California that made me miss a bit my blog, I'm back with a lot of news and projects that I hope you will enjoy.
The first and most important one is the t-shirt I'm wearing in this outfit. This is one of my new creation, but a bit different from those already presented, in fact it features a slogan declaring "I am a fashion blogger...follow me" enriched by a pair of red stilettos under the slogan and a row of studs around the neck. You find all the details of this item in my online shop, a bit of shopping.

I saw the jacket you see in these pics at Zara in Milan, but being not entirely convinced, I decided to not take it. A few days later I came back to take it but it was sold out. At that point, I wanted it absolutely, but no longer able to find it in any store, came to my rescue my dear friend Nadia, who had found it in Dublin and sent it to me!
The Jeffrey Campbell wedges, instead, directly come from Carson City and they are one of my online purchases that, in the last period, I do more often! About Jeffrey Campbell, did you see how beautiful are his new clogs? I've already added them in my wishing list!
Then, I decided to show off some of my purchases from Caifornia, Tarina Tarantino skull, electric blue Balenciaga and American Apparel grey nailpolish.

Dopo un lungo viaggio aereo, dopo aver visto sorgere il sole due volte in uno stesso giorno, ma soprattutto dopo aver trascorso un mese incredibile in California che mi ha fatto trascurare un po' il mio blog, eccomi di nuovo qui, con tante novità e progetti che spero potrete apprezzare.
La prima e la più importante riguarda la t-shirt che indosso in questo outfit. Si tratta di una mia nuova creazione, un po' diversa però da quelle fino ad ora presentate, infatti si caratterizza per uno slogan che dichiara "I am a fashion blogger...follow me", arricchito da un paio di stiletti rossi sotto la scritta e da una fila di borchie intorno al collo. La giacca che vedete in queste foto l'avevo adocchiata da Zara a Milano ma, non essendo del tutto convinta, non l'avevo acquistata. Pochi giorni dopo sono ritornata per prenderla ma era terminata. A quel punto la volevo assolutamente e, non riuscendo più a trovarla in nessuno stores, mi è venuta in soccorso la mia cara amica Nadia che l'ha scovata in quel di Dublino e me l'ha spedita!
Le zeppe di Jeffrey Campbell invece arrivano direttamente da Carson City e sono uno dei miei acquisti online che, ultimemente, faccio sempre più spesso! A proposito di Jeffrey Campbell, ma avete visto che belli che sono i suoi nuovi clogs? Li ho già inseriti nella mia wishing list!
Ho deciso poi di sfoggiare subito alcuni dei miei acquisti fatti in California, ovvero l'anello con teschio di Tarina Tarantino, la Balenciaga blu elettrico e lo smalto grigio di American Apparel.
