As you know I don’t like hot weather so much, especially if I am not at the tropics with a bikini, my sunscreen lotion and a coconut with a beautiful colored straw. I was shocked by the temperatures over 30 degrees of the past days. We are only at the beginning of April, where is the spring with its mild afternoons and cool evenings but, most importantly, when could I ever wear all the blazer I have in my closet? So this is a typical colorful summer look: a balloon skirt and a striped shirt, recently purchased at Zara. Then I opted for quite moderate accessories: the Jimmy Choo natural python sandals, the Indy Gucci dark brown bag and, in the end, an H&M rope bracelet.

Come ben sapete non amo molto il caldo torrido, soprattutto se non mi trovo ai tropici con un bikini, la mia protezione solare e una noce di cocco con una bella cannuccia colorata. Le temperature oltre i 30 gradi dei giorni scorsi mi hanno davvero sconcertata. Siamo solamente agli inizi di Aprile, dov’è la primavera con i suoi pomeriggi miti e le fresche serate ma soprattutto, tutti i blazer che ho nell’armadio quando li potrei mai mettere? Ecco quindi un look tipicamente estivo e molto colorato: gonna a palloncino e camicetta a righe, acquistati recentemente da Zara. Ho optato poi per degli accessori abbastanza sobri: i sandali in pitone naturale di Jimmy Choo, la Indy di Gucci color testa di moro ed, infine, un bracciale in corda di H&M.

It’s strange thinking that up to one minute before setting my eyes on these Jimmy Choo sandals I didn’t even know their existence and I didn’t feel the need of another pair of shoes in my life. But from the moment in which the image of this python and neon mesh masterpiece has been imprinted in my brain, I have done nothing more than think, want, calculate, combine, try and finally buy.

E’ curioso pensare che fino ad un minuto prima che i miei occhi si posassero su questi sandali di Jimmy Choo io ne ignoravo persino l’esistenza e nella mia vita non sentivo la necessità di un altro paio di scarpe. Ma dall’attimo preciso in cui l’immagine di questo capolavoro in pitone e rete fluo si è impresso nel mio cervello, io non ho fatto altro che pensare, desiderare, calcolare, abbinare, provare ed infine acquistare.

I suppose that you, just like me, want to leave the camel coats, the grey wool scarves and the fur boots that have accompanied us during this long and cold winter, to dive into color and lightness of Spring: so green light to the most daring color mix and go-ahead for the color experimentation. I decided to pull two strong colors that will be a real must for the upcoming season, electric blue and orange, adding a touch of emerald green thanks to the Kiko nailpolish, the H&M cuff and the snake ring. So I've chose to wear a pair of simple Dondup trousers with a nice tee and the new leather powder jacket, both by H&M. The accessories have certainly played a key role: the Balenciaga City Classic bag that I bought in Vegas, the Balenciaga sandals with orange profiles and, finally, the Jimmy Choo for H&M scarf and, of course, my beloved Yves Saint Laurent ring. What do you think about the final result?

Immagino che anche voi, proprio come me, abbiate voglia di abbandonare i cappotti cammello, le sciarpe di lana grigia e gli stivali imbottiti che ci hanno accompagnato durante questo lungo e freddo inverno, per tuffarvi nel colore e nella leggerezza della Primavera: via libera allora agli accostamenti cromatici più azzardati e largo alla sperimentazione cromatica. Io ho deciso di accostare due colori molto forti che saranno un vero e proprio tormentone per la stagione che sta arrivando, il blu elettrico e l’arancio, aggiungendo anche un tocco di verde smeraldo grazie allo smalto di Kiko, al bracciale di H&M e all’anello a forma di serpente. Ho scelto quindi di indossare un paio di semplici pantaloni di Dondup con una simpatica t-shirt e la nuova giacca di pelle color cipria, entrambe di H&M. Gli accessori hanno sicuramente avuto un ruolo fondamentale: la Balenciaga City Classic che avevo acquistato a Las Vegas, i sandali di Balenciaga con profili arancio e, per finire, la sciarpa di Jimmy Choo for H&M e, ovviamente, il mio adorato anello di Yves Saint Laurent. Cosa ne pensate del risultato finale?

Hello my dear readers, here I am back to normal life after my long and wonderful experience in China, Thailand and Malaysia. I confess that I really want to take new pics with Manuela and to be able to have access to my whole closet. After recovering from the jet-lag and regaining the space-time consciousness, I realized that we were in Carnival’s time, so I thought about my personal way of interpreting this festival. In fact, I played with the colors of the nailpolish to create a harlequin manicure and I used two different shades of lipstick. Then I gave a further touch of color wearing two funny watches which are part of a fantastic box set given to me by Swatch. Concerning the outfit, I chose to wear a basic jeans and my beloved studded jacket, both by Zara, a Topshop vest with cuts on the sleeves, the Jimmy Choo clutch and, finally, my new Jeffrey Campbell Lita glitter boots.

Buongiorno mie cari lettori, eccomi ritornata alla normalità dopo la mia lunga ed incredibile esperienza tra Cina, Tailandia e Malesia. Vi confesso che avevo davvero voglia di scattare nuove foto insieme a Manuela e di poter avere a disposizione tutto il mio guardaroba. Dopo essermi ripresa dal fuso orario ed aver riacquistato la cognizione spazio-temporale, mi sono resa conto che eravamo in periodo di Carnevale, così ho pensato di interpretare a mio modo questa festività. Ho infatti giocato con i colori dello smalto per creare una manicure arlecchino e ho utilizzato due tonalità diverse di rossetto. Ho poi dato un ulteriore tocco di colore indossando due dei divertenti orologi facenti parte di un fantastico cofanetto regalatomi da Swatch. Per quanto riguarda l’outfit ho scelto di indossare dei pratici jeans e la mia adorata giacca borchiata, entrambi di Zara, una maglietta di Topshop con dei tagli lungo le maniche, la clutch di Jimmy Choo ed, infine, le mie nuove Lita glitterate di Jeffrey Campbell.

Certainly you all know the picture of Kate Moss published a few months ago on Vogue UK in which she wore a pair of red leather pants and a breathtaking Balmain leopard jacket. I fell in love with that look since the first moment I saw it, also thanks, without a shadow of doubt, to the extraordinary power of interpretation and the great personality of the Moss. So I tried to repeat the same outfit with low cost items. The research was rather long but I finally managed to achieve my goal and I’m very satisfied of the outcome: the pants are by Pinko, the jacket is by Zara, while the shirt is a courtesy of Motivi. Then I chose to wear a pair of simple Jimmy Choo black booties, combined with the cream patent leather Lady Dior with gold details, such as the Chanel pearls necklace and earrings ones. What do you think about this look?

Sicuramente tutti voi avrete presente la foto di Kate Moss pubblicata su Vogue UK qualche mese fa in cui indossava un paio di pantaloni in pelle rossa ed una giacca leopardata di Balmain da togliere il fiato. Mi sono innamorata di quel look dal primo istante in cui l’ho visto complice, senza ombra di dubbio, la straordinaria forza interpretativa e la grande personalità della Moss. Ho quindi cercato di riproporre lo stesso outfit con capi low cost. La ricerca è stata piuttosto lunga ma alla fine sono riuscita a raggiungere il mio obiettivo e sono molto soddisfatta del risultato: i pantaloni sono di Pinko, la giacca è di Zara, mentra la camicia è un gentile omaggio di Motivi. Ho scelto poi di indossare dei semplici stivaletti neri di Jimmy Choo, abbinati alla Lady Dior in vernice color crema con dettagli oro, come quelli della collana e degli orecchini di perle di Chanel. Taking pictures under the rain is very complicated especially for Manuela who must protect the camera equipment. In the end we still managed to make these shots that I personally like a lot and, despite the cold and the rain, we even had fun: in a moment of madness I also threw my umbrella in the air! And about my look, I focused on the various shades of grey: leopard leggings purchased some time ago at Bershka and a Celyn b. soft wool coat. The bad weather didn’t, however, prevented me to wear my inseparable heels, a Jimmy Choo for H&M sandals combined with a warm socks. Last touch, the new Jimmy Choo clutch and the Tatty Devine mustache ring, bought in London.

Scattare foto sotto la pioggia è davvero molto complicato soprattutto per Manuela che deve proteggere l’attrezzatura fotografica. Alla fine siamo comunque riuscite a realizzare questi scatti che a me personalmente piacciono molto e, nonostante il freddo e la pioggia battente, ci siamo pure divertite: in un attimo di follia ho anche lanciato in aria il mio ombrello! Per quanto riguarda il mio look, ho puntato sulle varie sfumature di grigio: leggings leopardati acquistati qualche tempo fa da Bershka e un morbido cappottino di lana di Celyn b. Il pessimo tempo non mi ha comunque impedito di indossare i miei inseparabili tacchi, un paio di sandali di Jimmy Choo for H&M abbinati a dei caldi calzini. Ultimo tocco, la nuova pochette di Jimmy Choo e l’anello con i baffi di Tatty Devine, acquistato a Londra.
