Here's what I like most about that so loved, hated, envied and criticized universe called fashion: I can say with absolute certainty "I will never wear a long pleated skirt " to buying it after, wearing it and even feeling comfortable in it! In fact, for this outfit I’ve chose a maxi pleated skirt purchased online at Style by Marina and combined with that neon pink H&M tank top, my new Casadei wedges and that Marc Jacobs clutch. I’ve given up the earrings and I opted for that H&M thin chain with a small owl pendant to focus not only on those H&M gold metal bangles and those vintage ones in different shades of pink bakelite, but also on the rings, purchased at Aldo store which, as you know, has recently opened in Milan.

Ecco cosa mi piace di più di quell’universo tanto amato, odiato, criticato e invidiato chiamato moda: poter dire con assoluta convinzione “Io non metterò mai una gonna lunga a pieghe!” per poi comprarla subito dopo, indossarla e sentirsi pure a proprio agio! Per questo outfit ho scelto infatti una maxi gonna plissettata acquistata online da Style by Marina e abbinata ad una canotta rosa fluo di H&M, alle mie nuove zeppe di Casadei ed alla clutch di Marc Jacobs. Ho rinunciato agli orecchini e ho optato per una sottile catenina con un piccolo ciondolo a forma di gufo di H&M per poter puntare non solo sui bracciali rigidi in metallo dorato sempre di H&M e su quelli vintage in diverse tonalità di bachelite rosa, ma anche sugli anelli, acquistati presso lo store di Aldo che, come sapete, ha recentemente aperto a Milano.

Since the neon colors have made their appearance on the catwalk, I couldn’t do without them and, right now, I'm practically obsessed with them. So, for this outfit I decided to wear my Jacob Cohen jeans and my H&M belt with neon yellow details, as well as that H&M tank top and that cuff bought online at Topshop. All this combined with a black Dolce&Gabbana blazer with structured shoulders, my classic Borsalino hat and that little Marc Jacobs bucket bag covered with studs. In the end, I opted for those Yves Saint Laurent pony leopard sandals and an electric blue H&M nailpolish. What do you think about the final result? Besides the look, I'm very proud of these photos also for the choice of that location.

Da quando i colori fluo hanno fatto la loro comparsa sulle passerelle, io non ho più potuto farne a meno e, ad oggi, ne sono praticamente ossessionata. Per questo outfit ho deciso di indossare quindi i jeans di Jacob Cohen e la cintura di H&M con dettagli giallo fluo, così come la canotta sempre di H&M ed il bracciale acquistato online da Topshop. Il tutto abbinato ad un blazer nero con spalle strutturate di Dolce&Gabbana, il classico Borsalino ed una borsa a secchiellino ricoperta di borchie di Marc Jacobs. Infine, ho optato per i sandali in cavallino leopardato di Yves Saint Laurent e per uno smalto blu elettrico di H&M. Cosa ne pensate del risultato finale? Oltre al look, io sono molto soddisfatta di queste foto anche per la scelta della location.

I wanted to show you a post a little 'different than usual to answer the many requests I receive from you about how I create an outfit. Everything always starts with an idea, an inspiration of the moment and in this case it’s about the fabulous Seventies and then it goes on in a funny research of all clothing first of all among those ones already in my closet and then looking around in different shops and of course online too. At the beginning there have been these Casadei wedges, seen for the first time on Rachel Zoe’s website, looked in vain for them in boutique and finally found out at Luisaviaroma. The second step was the purchase of a pair of 7 For All Mankind dark washed flared jeans. That Marc Jacobs clutch, however, was definitely not planned, but when I found it in front of me, I immediately thought it was perfect for the outfit I was creating so I could not resist. If you remember, some time ago I had already worn this American Apparel floppy hat, this H&M blouse and this Chanel necklace. Finishing touch, those Topshop earrings purchased online. Et voila...le jeux son fait! Oh I forgot, what do you think about this disturbed vintage effect in the photos?

Ho voluto proporvi un post un po’ diverso dal solito per rispondere alle molte richieste che ricevo da parte vostra su come costruisco un outfit. Tutto nasce sempre da un’idea, da un’ispirazione del momento e in questo caso si tratta dei favolosi anni Settanta e poi prosegue in una divertente ricerca dei vari capi innanzitutto tra quelli già presenti nel mio armadio e poi girovagando nei vari negozi e ovviamente anche online. In principio ci sono state le zeppe di Casadei, viste per la prima volta sul sito di Rachel Zoe, cercate vanamente in boutique e scovate infine da Luisaviaroma. Il secondo passo è stato l’acquisto di un paio di jeans 7 For All Mankind con un lavaggio scuro e svasati in fondo. La clutch di Marc Jacobs, invece, non era assolutamente in programma, ma quando me la sono ritrovata davanti ho subito pensato che fosse perfetta per l’outfit che stavo costruendo e così non ho saputo resistere. Il cappello di American Apparel, la blousa di H&M e la collana di Chanel, se vi ricordate, li avevo già indossati qualche tempo fa. Ultimo tocco, gli orecchini di Topshop acquistati online. Et voilà…le jeux son fait! Ah dimenticavo, cosa ne pensate di questo effetto disturbato dal sapore vintage nelle foto?

London, we're coming!

We are planning a short trip to London in mid-November, and so here I am struggling with the flight and hotel booking. And what's better in a rainy Sunday than staying at home, along with those who will be my traveling friends, to decide how to organize this short break in the British capital? I would say anything better and so I thought to share with you these really enjoyable and relaxing moments. I also take this opportunity to ask you for some advice and information on special places to visit, typical restaurants and, of course, alternative shops in which to do shopping!

Talking about my outfit, I chose something very easy but cool: biker jeans, a must for this season, simple black turtleneck to which I added a cardigan covered with small studs and Gucci dizzy platforms. Then you will have noticed the necklace with my name around my neck, reminds you something? Yes, it's just like that of Carrie in Sex and the City! Is not it great? Stiamo progettando un breve viaggio a Londra intorno alla metà di Novembre e così eccomi qui alla prese con la prenotazione del volo e dell’hotel. E cosa c’è di meglio in una piovosa domenica che rimanere a casa, insieme a quelli che saranno i miei compagni di viaggio, a decidere come organizzare questa breve fuga nella capitale inglese? Direi nulla e così ho pensato di condividere con voi questi momenti davvero piacevoli e rilassanti. Ne approfitto anche per chiedervi consigli ed indicazioni su particolari luoghi da visitare, ristoranti tipici e, ovviamente, negozi alternativi nei quali fare shopping!

Per quanto riguarda il mio outfit, ho scelto qualcosa di molto easy ma comunque cool: biker jeans, must di questa stagione, semplice dolcevita nero al quale ho aggiunto un cardigan ricoperto di piccole borchie e vertiginose platforms di Gucci. Avrete poi notato la collana con il mio nome che ho al collo, vi ricorda qualcosa? Sì, è proprio come quella di Carrie in Sex and the City! Non è fantastica? These photos were taken in a school basketball just before the arrival of a storm and I especially like their street atmosphere. I enjoyed trying to score and, as you can see, in the end I did it. The look of the day was very simple: a pair of black shorts and a Happiness is a $10 tee t-shirt with a really ironic slogan declaring "Fashion till death", bought a few days ago along with another one that I’ll show you soon. I also raised my new dizzy Paciotti sandals (definitely not suitable for any sport!), along with the Marc Jacobs studded purse, small but very comfortable. And what do you think about my new Asos ring? Those who follow me on Twitter or Facebook already know that in this last period I was addicted to online shopping...somebody stop me please!

Queste foto sono state scattate in un campo da basket di una scuola poco prima dell’arrivo di un temporale e mi piacciono in modo particolare per la loro atmosfera street. Mi sono divertita a provare a fare canestro e, come potete vedere, alla fine ce l’ho fatta. Il look del giorno era molto semplice: un paio di shorts neri ed una t-shirt di Happiness is a 10$ tee con uno slogan davvero ironico che dichiara “Fashion till death”, acquistata pochi giorni fa insieme ad un’altra che presto vi mostrerò. Ho sfoggiato anche i miei nuovi vertiginosi sandali di Paciotti (decisamente poco adatti a qualsiasi attività sportiva!), insieme alla borsa tempestata di borchie di Marc Jacobs, piccola ma davvero molto comoda. E cosa ne dite del mio nuovo anello di Asos? Chi mi segue su Twitter o su Facebook saprà già che in questo ultimo periodo mi sono data allo shopping online…qualcuno mi fermi per favore!!!
