Do you remember that some time ago I had already shown you these crazy Versace sandals? Take a look here. Many of you were curious to see how I would wore them and matched them in an outfit. I initially thought to a very simple and monochromatic look. That idea has been immediately set aside when I realized that the Matthew Williamson for H&M jeans were in the same color of the sandals’ plateau and there were hints of yellow, pink and green in the print of the top. Then I decided to complete the look with a Dolce e Gabbana pink suede jacket and with the Emporio Armani envelope clutch in suede too and in the same color of the Kiko nailpolish. The result is very strong but I'm satisfied, what do you think about it?

Vi ricordate che qualche tempo fa vi avevo già presentato questi pazzeschi sandali di Versace? Date un’occhiata qui. Molti di voi erano curiosi di vederli indossati e di sapere come li avrei abbinati. Inizialmente pensavo ad un look molto semplice e monocromatico. Idea abbandonata immediatamente quando mi sono accorta che i jeans di Matthew Williamson for H&M erano dello stesso colore del plateau dei sandali e che nella fantasia del top erano presenti accenni di giallo, rosa e verde. Ho poi deciso di completare il look con un giubbotto in suede rosa di Dolce e Gabbana e con una pochette sempre in camoscio di Emporio Armani nella stessa tonalità dello smalto di Kiko. Il risultato è decisamente forte ma io ne sono soddisfatta, voi cosa ne pensate?

How can you beat the heat of these days? An afternoon spent in the pool, a frozen cocktail and a slice of watermelon is definitely the right answer! I would like to propose an outfit purely for the pool or the sea with a touch of glamor. I chose to wear, in fact, a kaftan from the collection that last year Matthew Williamson designed for H&M, combined with a pair of Dolce&Gabbana sandals with an amazing acid green sponge band. Then I tried to play a lot with accessories, deliberately seeking a bit excessive and baroque style, so Eighties: big dark sunglasses, flashy rings, elastic belt and a DIY necklace consists of three rounds of chains, held together by a cross. Final touch the pink lipstick that I love calling "Jem and The Holograms” color. Does someone, besides me, remember this cartoon? I don’t know if it was broadcasted only in Italy or in other countries too!

Come si può sconfiggere il caldo torrido di questi giorni? Un pomeriggio trascorso in piscina, un cocktail ghiacciato ed una fetta di anguria sono sicuramente la risposta giusta! Ho pensato di proporvi un outfit prettamente da piscina o mare ma con un tocco glamour. Ho scelto di indossare, infatti, un kaftano della collezione che l’anno scorso Matthew Williamson ha disegnato per H&M, abbinato ad un paio di sandali di Dolce&Gabbana con una divertente fascetta in spugna verde acido. Ho cercato poi di giocare molto con gli accessori, ricercando volutamente uno stile un po’ eccessivo e barocco, molto anni '80: grandi occhiali da sole scuri, anelli appariscenti, cintura elastica ed una collana realizzata da me e costituita da tre giri di catene, tenuti insieme da una croce. Tocco finale il rossetto rosa che io amo definire color “Jem e Le Holograms”. Qualcuno, oltre a me, si ricorda di questo cartone animato? Non so se fosse trasmesso solo in Italia o anche in altri paesi!
