Some things to do, a beautiful spring day and a simple, fresh but super vitaminic outfit thanks to the dominant presence of yellow. In fact, I opted for a very feminine top recently purchased at Zara, together with this ecru skirt with navy blue stripe. Then I decided to combine a Dolce&Gabbana denim jacket that is back among the big must for the season. Once again, the accessories give that extra touch to the whole look: a vertiginous Paciotti sandals, Louis Vuitton Alma Multicolor bag and some hints of emerald green thanks to Kiko nailpolish, the necklace from Myanmar and the vintage earrings, that are a peacock’s feathers embellished with beads in the same shade.

Un po’ di commissioni da sbrigare, una bella giornata primaverile ed un outfit semplice, fresco ma super vitaminico grazie alla presenza dominante del giallo. Ho infatti optato per un top molto femminile acquistato recentemente da Zara, insieme a questa gonna ecrù con banda blu navy. Ho poi deciso di abbinare un giubbotto in jeans di Dolce&Gabbana che è tornato tra i grandi must di stagione. Ancora una volta gli accessori danno quel tocco in più all’intero look: sandali vertiginosi di Paciotti, Alma multicolor di Louis Vuitton e qualche accenno verde smeraldo grazie allo smalto di Kiko, alla collana proveniente dalla Birmania e agli orecchini vintage, ovvero piume di pavone arricchite da perline nella stessa tonalità.

These photos were taken in a school basketball just before the arrival of a storm and I especially like their street atmosphere. I enjoyed trying to score and, as you can see, in the end I did it. The look of the day was very simple: a pair of black shorts and a Happiness is a $10 tee t-shirt with a really ironic slogan declaring "Fashion till death", bought a few days ago along with another one that I’ll show you soon. I also raised my new dizzy Paciotti sandals (definitely not suitable for any sport!), along with the Marc Jacobs studded purse, small but very comfortable. And what do you think about my new Asos ring? Those who follow me on Twitter or Facebook already know that in this last period I was addicted to online shopping...somebody stop me please!

Queste foto sono state scattate in un campo da basket di una scuola poco prima dell’arrivo di un temporale e mi piacciono in modo particolare per la loro atmosfera street. Mi sono divertita a provare a fare canestro e, come potete vedere, alla fine ce l’ho fatta. Il look del giorno era molto semplice: un paio di shorts neri ed una t-shirt di Happiness is a 10$ tee con uno slogan davvero ironico che dichiara “Fashion till death”, acquistata pochi giorni fa insieme ad un’altra che presto vi mostrerò. Ho sfoggiato anche i miei nuovi vertiginosi sandali di Paciotti (decisamente poco adatti a qualsiasi attività sportiva!), insieme alla borsa tempestata di borchie di Marc Jacobs, piccola ma davvero molto comoda. E cosa ne dite del mio nuovo anello di Asos? Chi mi segue su Twitter o su Facebook saprà già che in questo ultimo periodo mi sono data allo shopping online…qualcuno mi fermi per favore!!!

I can imagine what is your first impression looking at these photos: "But how did she deal with the flight of steps with those heels?!". Well, if I am here to tell you is because I made it. I love heels and I wear them almost all the time and this sometimes leads me to face extreme situations, like what you see in these pictures. In fact the location was not determined in advance so I could not imagine that our imagination would led us to a small medieval village. The fatigue of the journey was rewarded, though, by the views that we could admire from the square of this picturesque village.
In addition to the indicted stilettos, in this outfit I wear one of my recent purchases, the Moschino belt I was looking for some time and I decided, in the end, not to purchase in classic black, but in this blue-gray that is very close to the shade of Yves Saint Laurent Downtown bag. A touch of pink given by the vintage suede jacket, by the written on the back of my top and by the fluo nailpolish complete the look.
Posso immaginare quale sia la vostra prima impressione guardando queste foto: “Ma come avrà fatto ad affrontare quella scalinata con quei tacchi?!”. Ebbene, se sono qui a raccontarvelo è perché ce l’ho fatta. Adoro i tacchi e li indosso quasi sempre e questo, a volte, mi porta a dover affrontare situazioni estreme, come quella che potete vedere in queste immagini. In realtà la location non era stata decisa a priori quindi io non potevo immaginare che la nostra fantasia ci avrebbe condotte in un piccolo paesino medievale. La fatica del percorso è stata ripagata, però, dal panorama che abbiamo potuto ammirare dalla piazza di questo suggestivo borgo.
Oltre agli incriminati stiletti, in questo outfit indosso uno dei miei recenti acquisti, ovvero la cintura di Moschino che cercavo da diverso tempo e che ho deciso, alla fine, di non acquistare nel classico colore nero ma in questo blu-grigio che si avvicina molto alla tonalità della Downtown di Yves Saint Laurent. Completa il look un tocco rosa dato dal giubbottino vintage scamosciato, dalla scritta sul retro del mio top e dallo smalto fluo.

First, a brief explanation about the title of this post, whose photos were not taken according to it, but everything is born in a very natural way. It happened that, regarding these shots, I thought on the analogy that the images had with my mood today. Maybe for the first time in my life, I can clearly see my future, despite wind and branches often obscure the view: I'm doing what I like to do and I hope to do it for a long time, despite all obstacles life will inevitably put on my way. I'm happy and ready to face my tomorrow.
And which is the right outfit to face my destiny? I chose to wear a look halfway between seafaring and military: I purchased this striped t-shirt and the denim jacket, both of Forever21, in Santa Monica, during my recent trip to California. Instead, what do you think about Louis Vuitton Alma MM? I love it, especially for its very particular and changing color. Earrings, however, come from the famous Forte dei Marmi market in Tuscany. I suggest you, if you have the chance, to visit it sooner or later, there are really interesting and unique stuffs.

Innanzitutto una breve spiegazione circa il titolo di questo post, le cui foto non sono state fatte in funzione di esso ma il tutto è nato in modo molto naturale. E’ accaduto che, riguardando questi scatti, ho riflettuto sull’analogia che le immagini avevano con il mio stato d’animo attuale. Forse, per la prima volta in vita mia, riesco a vedere con una certa chiarezza il mio futuro, nonostante i rami ed il vento spesso ostruiscano la visuale: sto facendo ciò che mi piace e spero di poterlo fare a lungo, nonostante tutti gli ostacoli che inevitabilmente la vita creerà sul mio percorso. Sono felice e pronta per affrontare il mio domani.
E quale è l’outfit giusto per affrontare il mio destino? Io ho scelto di indossare un look a metà tra il marinaro ed il militare: la t-shirt a righe e la giacca in denim, entrambi di Forever21, li ho acquistati a Santa Monica, durante il mio recente viaggio in California. Che ne pensate, invece, della Louis Vuitton Alma MM? Io la adoro, soprattutto per il suo colore particolare e cangiante. Gli orecchini, invece, arrivano dal famoso mecato del Forte dei Marmi, in Toscana. Last Tuesday I was at M Missoni, the new flagship store of the Missoni’s young line recently opened in Milan, for a Christmas drink with the new collection’s preview. As a good Italian fashion victim, I love Missoni, the quality and workmanship of its fabrics, and thanks to the M Missoni line, it isn’t necessary to squander own assets to have a dress of this maison!

In questo periodo amo in modo particolare il viola e non solo perchè è di moda ma perchè credo che mi si addica e che possa essere abbinato a tantissimi altri colori. Adoro l’ultima foto, mi trasmette gioia solo a guardarla e poi, cosa c’è di meglio che buttarsi su un letto pieno di vestiti e accessori?
Martedì ero da M Missoni, il nuovo flagship store della linea giovane di Missoni inaugurato da poco a Milano, per un aperitivo di Natale con anteprima della nuova collezione. Da buona italian fashion victim, adoro Missoni, il pregio e la lavorazione dei suoi tessuti e, grazie alla linea M Missoni, non è necessario dilapidare il proprio patrimonio per possedere un abito della maison!
