After having anticipated it to you several time, now is the time of my departure and here it is my itinerary. Beijing will be the first city I’m going to visit, in which I’ll stay for about five days before moving to Shanghai for six days. I’ll spend the next five days in Bangkok, then making a brief stop in Kuala Lumpur. And finally, ten days of complete relax in Pom Pom Island, a paradise lost in the sea of Celebes, off the Malaysian Borneo’s coasts. Now can you understand my suitcase crisis? I will pass by the freezing temperatures that characterize China in this period to the torrid and humid heat of Thailand and Malaysia, having to deal with nine flights, some trips by boat and the inevitable local purchases. So these are the last photos taken before I left for which I have chosen a rather classic look: Pinko wool trousers and leopard sweater, combined with my new Zara coat that, for its peculiarity of not possessing any type of lacing, I closed with the Moschino belt. The Fendi blue suede ankle boots and the Yves Saint Laurent Downtown bag complete the look together with the vintage clock necklace. What do you think about the location? I assure you that finding some abandoned chairs was a surprise even for me and Manuela and we couldn’t miss the chance to use them, they have a decadent touch that I adore.

Dopo avervelo anticipato più volte, è arrivato il momento della mia partenza ed ecco in breve il mio itinerario. La prima città che visiterò sarà Pechino, dove mi tratterrò cinque giorni circa per poi spostarmi a Shanghai per altri sei giorni. I successivi cinque giorni li trascorrerò a Bangkok, per poi fare una breve tappa a Kuala Lumpur. Ed infine, dieci giorni di assoluto relax a Pom Pom Island, un paradiso sperduto nel mare di Celebes, al lago delle coste del Borneo malese. Ora potete comprendere la mia crisi valigia? Passerò dalle temperature polari che caratterizzano la Cina in questo periodo al caldo torrido e umido della Thailandia e della Malesia, dovendo fare i conti con novi voli aerei, alcuni spostamenti in barca e gli inevitabili acquisti in loco. Queste sono quindi le ultime foto scattate prima della mia partenza per le quali ho scelto un look piuttosto classico: pantaloni in lana e maglia maculata di Pinko, abbinati al mio nuovo cappotto di Zara che, avendo la particolarità di non possedere nessun tipo di allacciatura, ho chiuso con la cintura di Moschino. Stivaletti in camoscio blu di Fendi e Downtown di Yves Saint Laurent completano il look insieme alla monachella vintage. Cosa ne dite della location? Vi assicuro che trovare delle sedie abbandonate è stata una sorpresa anche per me e Manuela e non potevamo certo farci sfuggire l’occasione di utilizzarle, hanno un tocco decadente che adoro.

I’m very proud of these shots, I think they have a real soul. The fluorescent light combined with the metallic fabric of the leggings and the reflection of the wet floor creates a "fluid" effect that is, from my point of view, so impressive: I hope you enjoy it as well.
The outfit I chose, in line with the location, is very street and focused on the grey and black shades with metallic accents and just one color touch given by my fluo pink nailpolish. So, I wear Pinko charcoal leggings, polka-dot covered with silver glitter sweater, purchased online on Topshop and a warm Who’s Who lapin jacket. I couldn’t complete the look with my Stella McCartney Falabella bag, entirely covered with studs, the Burberry Prorsum boots and the Asos claw bracelet that I finally managed to wear for the first time. .

Sono particolarmente soddisfatta di questi scatti, credo abbiano una vera e propria anima. La luce fluorescente unita al tessuto metallizzato dei leggings e al riflesso del pavimento bagnato crea un effetto “fluido” che dal mio punto di vista risulta davvero molto suggestivo: spero lo possiate apprezzare anche voi.
L’outfit che ho scelto, in linea con la location, è molto street e focalizzato sui toni del grigio e del nero con accenni metallici ed un unico tocco di colore dato dalla smalto rosa fluo. Indosso quindi leggings di Pinko antracite, maglia con pois ricoperti di brillantini argento, acquistata online da Topshop ed una calda giacca di lapin di Who’s Who. Non potevo non completare il look con la mia Falabella di Stella McCartney, interamente ricoperta di borchie, gli stivali di Burberry Prorsum ed il bracciale-artiglio di Asos che finalmente dopo diverso tempo sono riuscita ad indossare per la prima volta.

These pics were taken a few days ago in a viewpoint of a village near my house: the cold was biting but the view was breathtaking. We now come to the end of 2010 and it’s normal to weight all the pros and cons of the year that has just gone and wonder about what the new one is planning for us. I’m very happy about the results achieved by my blog and I hope to keep on this way and get better and better. About the future, the only certainty for the moment is my journey to the East in February and its organization is taking up all my time and my energy in these days. Plans for the New Year’s Eve? I'll spend it with friends: dinner, little 'music and many toasts!
About my look, the thermometer below zero made me choose my Annabella pearl gray fur jacket, combined with a pair of Sandro leather trousers and a Pinko oversize turtleneck sweater. The big star was my new Peekaboo Fendi bag, with a pair of Gucci vertiginous platforms and some gold accessories: starting from the Yves Saint Laurent ring, through the hoop earrings, to the beautiful vintage clock necklace given to me by Manuela for my birthday. A touch of color, the H&M coral nailpolish.

Questi scatti sono stati realizzati qualche giorno fa in un punto panoramico di un paesino vicino a casa mia: il freddo era pungente ma il panorama era davvero mozzafiato. Siamo oramai giunti alla fine di questo 2010 ed è normale sia fare un bilancio dell’anno che è appena trascorso sia immaginare cosa ci riserverà quello venturo. Io sono molto felice dei risultati raggiunti dal mio blog e spero di proseguire su questa strada e migliorare sempre di più. Per quanto riguarda il futuro l’unica certezza, per ora, è il mio viaggio ad Oriente che farò a Febbraio e la cui organizzazione sta occupando tutto il mio tempo e le mie energie di questi giorni. Programmi per Capodanno? Io lo passerò tra amici: una cena, un po’ di musica e molti brindisi!
Per quanto riguarda il mio look, il termometro sotto zero mi ha fatto optare per la mia giacchina di pelliccia grigio perla di Annabella, abbinata ad un paio di pantaloni di pelle di Sandro e ad un maglione oversize con collo alto di Pinko. Grande protagonista la mia nuova Peekaboo di Fendi, accostata ad un paio di vertiginose platforms di Gucci e a diversi accessori dorati: dall’anello di Yves Saint Laurent, passando per gli orecchini a cerchio, fino alla stupenda monachella vintage, la collana con orologio regalatami da Manuela per il mio compleanno. Tocco di colore, lo smalto corallo di H&M.

Certainly you all know the picture of Kate Moss published a few months ago on Vogue UK in which she wore a pair of red leather pants and a breathtaking Balmain leopard jacket. I fell in love with that look since the first moment I saw it, also thanks, without a shadow of doubt, to the extraordinary power of interpretation and the great personality of the Moss. So I tried to repeat the same outfit with low cost items. The research was rather long but I finally managed to achieve my goal and I’m very satisfied of the outcome: the pants are by Pinko, the jacket is by Zara, while the shirt is a courtesy of Motivi. Then I chose to wear a pair of simple Jimmy Choo black booties, combined with the cream patent leather Lady Dior with gold details, such as the Chanel pearls necklace and earrings ones. What do you think about this look?

Sicuramente tutti voi avrete presente la foto di Kate Moss pubblicata su Vogue UK qualche mese fa in cui indossava un paio di pantaloni in pelle rossa ed una giacca leopardata di Balmain da togliere il fiato. Mi sono innamorata di quel look dal primo istante in cui l’ho visto complice, senza ombra di dubbio, la straordinaria forza interpretativa e la grande personalità della Moss. Ho quindi cercato di riproporre lo stesso outfit con capi low cost. La ricerca è stata piuttosto lunga ma alla fine sono riuscita a raggiungere il mio obiettivo e sono molto soddisfatta del risultato: i pantaloni sono di Pinko, la giacca è di Zara, mentra la camicia è un gentile omaggio di Motivi. Ho scelto poi di indossare dei semplici stivaletti neri di Jimmy Choo, abbinati alla Lady Dior in vernice color crema con dettagli oro, come quelli della collana e degli orecchini di perle di Chanel. When you walk you can not step on dry leaves which inexorable fall from the trees, nature turns on red, yellow and orange, the air we breathe is really nice, fizzy but not sharp. The other day I was granted a short walk to enjoy a few moments of this autumn show and take some photos to show you my look. I chose to wear a quite comfortable outfit, enriched with different accessories that recalled in colors this wonderful season. The passion for the capes is taking over on me but how can you not love them? I bought this one I’m wearing at Massimo Dutti and it's really warm, comfortable and enveloping. Combined with a pair of skinny jeans and a basic brown sweater I think it's perfect. As I said, the accessories are predominant in this look: Miu Miu trekking boots, a real must for this season, my Yves Saint Laurent Muse bag and the American Apparel hat that, finally, I managed to wear. What do you think about the final result?

Quando si passeggia non si può fare a meno di calpestare le foglie secche che inesorabili cadono dagli alberi, la natura si tinge di rosso, giallo e arancio, l’aria che si respira è davvero piacevole, frizzante ma non ancora pungente. L’altro giorno mi sono concessa una breve passeggiata per godere di qualche attimo di questo spettacolo autunnale e per scattare qualche foto e mostrarvi il mio look. Ho scelto di indossare un outfit abbastanza comodo, arricchito da diversi accessori che richiamassero nei colori questa meravigliosa stagione. La passione per le mantelle sta prendendo il sopravvento su di me ma come si fa a non amarle? Questa che indosso l’ho acquistata da Massimo Dutti ed è davvero calda, avvolgente e molto comoda. Abbinata ad un paio di skinny jeans e ad una semplicissima maglia marrone credo sia perfetta. Come vi dicevo gli accessori sono predominanti in questo look: stivali in stile trekking di Miu Miu, vero e proprio tormentone per questa stagione, la mia Muse di Yves Saint Laurent e il cappello di American Apparel che, finalmente, sono riuscita ad indossare.
